Help candidates pay their filing fees for the November 2024 elections
Our priority is candidates for statewide offices who are willing to pay a significant portion of the filing fee themselves or through their own fundraising. We cannot help federal candidates (U.S. Senate or U.S. Representative). We may support candidates for other state offices like State Senate and State Representative. We want to support quality candidates for these offices. We may have specific candidates in mind for some offices. For some offices we may choose not to help any candidate. If we identify a candidate we want to support, once the funds are raised, the Libertarian Booster PAC will deliver a check for the filing fee directly to the Secretary of State's office. We did this for several candidates in 2022 and 2020 as well. If you are interested in having a fundraising section added for your campaign, contact Wes Benedict to discuss: (512) 659-8896, wesbenedict@gmail.com. To be considered, you must be able to cover a significant portion of the filing fee. If you donate for a specific campaign but we don't file a candidate and pay the fee, you'll be offered a refund.

More about the filing fees and this program to help cover the cost for candidates
In 2019, the Republican majority in the Texas Legislature passed a bill in May (House Bill 2504) that requires our candidates to start paying filing fees that range from $375 up to $5,000! Most of our candidates made it onto the ballot anyway, thanks to a couple lawsuits that temporarily helped us. But, in 2021, the legislature passed another bill putting filing fees on our candidates.

All contributions to this fund will be contributed by the Libertarian Booster PAC to Libertarian Party candidates in Texas.
