Unfortunately, the Republican majority in the Texas Legislature passed a bill in May (House Bill 2504) that requires our candidates to start paying filing fees that range from $375 up to $5,000!
Libertarians in Texas lobbied against the bill, but the legislature passed it anyway.
We are so furious! The Libertarian Party of Texas joined a lawsuit to overturn the filing fees and other egregious restrictions that harm the Libertarian Party in Texas, but that lawsuit may take months or years to get resolved.
Will you help us fight back right now by donating $100, $200, or even $750 to help pay the filing fees for some of the candidates in Texas?
All contributions to this fund will be contributed by the Libertarian Booster PAC to Libertarian Party candidates in Texas.
These funds cannot be used for federal races (not for U.S. Congress).
The Libertarian Booster PAC will decide which candidates receive the funds based on the following criteria which is subject to change:
